How far in advance do we need to book our DJ?

Music & Entertainment is a vital part of every reception. When you find the right DJ for you, we suggest booking with them as quickly as possible. Some clients book with us as far as 2 years in advance. Like any other vendor, we are constantly getting inquiries for most dates, so the sooner you book the greater the chance of securing the entertainer you prefer for your event.

What makes ESP Entertainment different from any other company?

It is our belief that no two parties are ever the same. By taking the time to meet with you to custom design your reception around your taste, you are guaranteed to have the type of party that YOU want.

Are we able to meet with our DJ before our event?

Of course you can. When you book with ESP Entertainment you will always be able to meet in person with your DJ to go over all of the details and planning of your event. You may contact us as often as you like, whether by phone or e-mail, and of course you will always have access to one of the owners of the company.

What style of DJ will we have at our event?

Only a true professional can adapt to any style of party his/her client prefers. When you meet with your DJ you get to decide the approach you want us to take. We can be very low key, making the essential announcements or we can be interactive and out there dancing with your guests and showing people the latest dances steps. The choice is yours.

Can we give you a list of songs we want played?

Due to the intimate nature of Weddings and other private affairs we do not invite potential clients to look in on someone else’s special day. We will not invite anyone else to visit your event either. However, if we have a public showcase that we will be performing at we will be happy to invite you out to see us at such an event.

Are you a member of any professional organizations?

ESP Entertainment is proud to be a part of the American Disc Jockey Association (ADJA).

What kind of music is in your collection?

As professional disc jockeys, ESP Entertainment is pleased to own a music library of over 100,000 titles. We have subscriptions to several music services so we are getting brand new music from many different genres every week. We have music from the 1930’s to today’s top hits including: Classical, Jazz, Big Band, New Age, Rock N Roll, Classic Rock, Country, Hip Hop, R&B, Alternative Rock, Latin, Swing, Motown, Oldies, Disco, 80’s & 90’s Dance, Ethnic and much more. If you have any requests, just let us know, and we will make sure you hear it at your reception.

What time will my DJ arrive at my event?

We typically arrive 1 1/2 hours before the start of every event to ensure that all our audio, visual or lighting equipment is just perfect for your particular banquet facility. Under certain circumstances, depending on the set up, we may require more time but we will let you and your banquet facility know in advance.

What attire will my disc jockey be dressed in?

Our traditional attire for most events is a black tuxedo. However upon request we can dress in a more relaxed, but appropriate, fashion for events of a casual nature.

What kind of equipment do you use?

To ensure customer satisfaction we use the best professional DJ equipment in the business. We use Apple Macbook Pro computers, Denon CD players, Crown amplifiers, EAW and RCF speakers to ensure crystal clear sound.

What if we want to have additional production for our event?

ESP Entertainment is pleased to provide several different lighting & video packages to suit your particular needs and desires. Live musicians and vocalists are also available for your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception if you request.

How many breaks do you take?

We will be performing for you from start to finish without any breaks. You will have continuous music throughout your entire party.

Are you insured?

ESP Entertainment carries a full liability insurance policy. Proof of insurance is available upon request.

 Can we speak to references?

We will be happy to provide you with a list references from previous clients who will be happy to discuss with you, their satisfaction from using ESP Entertainment.

What are your current rates?

Our rates vary depending upon the type of event you are having and based on the services we are providing. Please contact us for more specific pricing information. Our pricing includes setup time, performance time, breakdown time, travel time, and all equipment and consultations necessary to plan and perform your event. There are no hidden charges. All fees are clearly stated in your contract.

What are your payment terms?

We require a 30% deposit along with a signed contract in order to secure your date. The next 40% is due six (6) months prior to the affair and the remaining balance is to be paid at the finals appointment or two weeks prior to your affair (whichever comes first). ESP Entertainment accepts cash, personal or business checks, certified checks, money orders, paypal and all major credit cards.

Do you carry backup equipment?

We are prepared for any emergency and carry back up equipment including microphones, CD players, amps, speakers and wires.
